Smoke and fire detectors are compulsive in residential buildings and business premises in many European countries and the USA. In some federal states in Germany (Hamburg,
Hesse, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland and Schleswig-Holstein), the equipping with smoke detectors is obligatory. The number of fire victims is consequently high. After the assembly of smoke detectors became obligatory in Great Britain, the number of deaths caused by fire sank rapidly!
Fires are treacherous. Most fire victims die of smoke poisoning even before the fire really catches. A burning curtain or wallpaper can be lethal. Fire detectors notice the start of a fire on the first signs of smoke.
Our R1 smoke and fire detecting system is equipped with wireless smoke detectors, which report a fire to the alarm switchboard without complicated wiring.
It produces a deafening continuous alarm over an 110 dB siren. Normal smoke detectors are only about 75 to 85 dB. An alarm from the cellar is hard to hear through walls in a bedroom, for example. The sound of the R1 Bublitz Alarm, however, is produced in a central position, independent of where the fire is. The alarm is about 6 - 8 times louder than usual fire detectors and will definitely not ‘oversleep’.
The R1 smoke and fire detecting system only functions together with the Bublitz B1 (B2) alarm system.
You have only 3 minutes to escape!
